Be Anxious For Nothing...

As we all wind down from this weekend, let's not forget the impact of what occured over two thousand years ago: God came here!

Some updates on what's going on at the Jaffrey Bible House:

1) We've already got some movies on the way to begin our Movie Rental section. After some great feedback and much prayer, we've decided on a $15 one-time payment to join JBH as a member and be able to rent movies for free. We're not Blockbuster and in the spirit of simplicity this really seems like the best choice. One movie at a time for now (later, when there's a greater selection, maybe that'll change). This all kicks off in a couple weeks when all the movies get in.

2) Our hours for New Year's on Friday are 10am-4pm and Saturday 12pm-4pm. If you can make it in on Friday between noon and one o'clock we'll be having prayer time here. Even if you can't, consider being in prayer Friday for all the drivers and "goings on" that take place during this time of year. Pray, too, for those who have a difficult Christmas season due to the loss of loved ones. This can be an especially hard time for them.

3) Speaking of prayer, we're working on getting a Prayer Request section up and running. This will be a great place to post requests and praises or just share what God's laying on your heart. Details to come! In the meantime though, feel free to drop those off on our Facebook site.

4) January can be dismal for small retailers. As a sweet solution we offer to you: Lollipop Coupons. All month, starting this Saturday, we'll have a display of secretly color-coded lollipops to save you 10%, 20% or 30% on any one purchase (this includes special orders!). Rumor also has it that a 40%'er is trying to get in, but we'll see about that...
